We had some visitors yesterday! The Peoria Humane Society brought therapy dogs for Paws to Read where the kids got to practice reading aloud to the pups 🐶

Thank you to everyone who came out to Chillicothe Public Library for our latest Depolarizing Ourselves workshop on Saturday!

Attendees learned about how our own attitudes and ways of talking could be a big source of the bitter divisiveness we see in our politics today, and increasingly in our personal lives. That's followed by learning some tips and tricks to turn down the temperature in a conversation.

As always, we're looking to spread the word about the work we do here locally with Braver Angels. If you want to hold an introductory presentation for your community or organization, please reach out. We can also schedule workshops from there.
