More information and details about today’s recovery resources at HPN - Hart Park Neighborhood in Menasha, and additional information with donations and sheltering at Christ The Rock Menasha WI.
Here are Christ The Rock's resources for the community and needs for Friday and Saturday, July 31-Aug. 1:
🔸URGENT NEEDS: Plastic storage bins, tarps, flashlights, wipes (for washing hands), batteries, head lamps, work gloves, flashlights, zip ties, tarps, totes, duct tape, 1st aid, sweat bands, bleach mops, solar power, battery/solar powered operated fans and lights.
🔸HART PARK - MOBILE FOOD PANTRY: Our Food Pantry is moving to where it's easiest for people to access it! We will return to Menasha's Hart Park neighborhood 7:00 am - 7:00 pm on Friday and Saturday, July 31 and Aug. 1, with a truck full of food, cold beverages, and other items to give away. We will also have cell phone charging stations. All are welcome — please share with friends who live nearby.
🔸AT OUR BUILDING - NEW HOURS! We will be open to receive donations 10:00 am-6:00 pm. Use the West Doors (to the left as you face the building). We are no longer hosting daily Food Pantry at our building — but will continue daily Food Pantry out at Hart Park 7 am-7 pm, where it’s most needed. Our in-building Food Pantry is returning to normal hours and operations, with pickups on Tuesdays at our building To sign up for Tuesday pickups, visit www.christtherock.org/food-pantry.
🔸RED CROSS: The temporary shelter is still receiving people who need a place to stay overnight. The Red Cross volunteers are moving to the WEST Doors by noon on Friday, July 31 (the doors furthest to the left as you face the building). (W6254 Highway 10-114, Menasha)
🔸Donations: We do NOT need any more bread, water, clothing or bedding donations. We DO need: Coffee (instant or grounds), shelf-stable/non-perishable items like crackers, cereal, and other boxed items; and gift cards of any amount (to stores like Target, Walmart, Lowe’s, Home Depot, etc.) Use the West Doors for donations (furthest to your left as you face the building). You can find updated lists at www.christtherock.org.
🔸 THANK YOU to everyone who has been so incredibly generous in just a few short days! God bless you for caring for our community during this difficult time.
