Statewide Burn Ban Reminder:

A statewide burn ban remains in effect across North Carolina. All open burning is prohibited until further notice.

Fire departments across the county, along with the North Carolina Forest Service, have responded to numerous illegal burn incidents in recent days.

At the time of this post, crews are actively working two separate illegal burns. The Forest Service is en route to meet with the homeowners involved.

Violations of the burn ban can result in fines and additional penalties. Residents are urged to comply and avoid any outdoor burning.

PS: Your neighbors will call in and report it. Especially, that one you don’t get along with.

Memorial service is tonight! Family will Receive friends from 6-7 and service at 7pm! It will be held at Piedmont Baptist Church located at 5870 Wright Rd. Kannapolis NC!
