We placed an order for a new Engine today. This new Engine will help up reach areas that might have been inaccessible for a regular Engine to reach. We also won’t have to worry about traffic that won’t yield for us, now having the ability to fly over them.

Last night we were dispatched to assist Speegleville Vfd with a fire getting close to some structures. We responded with Brush 415 and Tanker 411 initially. Speegleville VFD did a great job knocking the fire down and keeping it from reaching the structures. We remained on scene with them providing mop up and making sure there were no additional hot spots. Thank you also to Mclennan County Sheriff's Office for blocking the area and starting to evacuate residents that were in the line of the fire.

We would like to thank everyone that came out yesterday. We couldn’t continue to do what we do without the support of the community. Thank you for all those that stopped by the China Spring Civic Club bake sale. We sold out just shy of 8 last night so thank you all again. We hoped y’all enjoyed it and we’ll see you again in the spring.
