We are currently still working on the repair. Please be aware that once the water is restored there may be air in your lines. We will do our best to get as much out as possible but you may still need to run your water to get the air out.

Please read the areas listed before calling as it slows work when we are having to take calls when you are not in the area affected.

This notice is only for the affected area which is located in Bosque County.

Emergency Alert! Temporary Outage!
Parts of Prause Rd will have little to no water as a major leak has been locate. A contractor has been contacted to repair. No ETA at the moment

All water restrictions have been lifted. Both wells have been repaired and are back in service.

Update on Hills of Childress Creek Well:

After the well had a mechanical failure on Friday, our contractors were able to pull the well on Saturday and found that the motor and electrical wires that go to the motor were damaged. We are currently waiting on custom wire for motor to arrive. The materials should be received as of Wednesday 4/29/2026. Once materials are received and well is put back in we will be able to run needed tests and have well put back into operations by early next week.

Update:

The well that supplies Wortham Bend(from the intersection of N Rock Creek RD to Prause Rd),Childress Creek Dr, Garrett Ln., Pocock Ln, Sonoma Ridge, Parsons Ln, Talbert Ranch Rd, Jackson, Culpepper, Mabry Rd, Range Rd, all of River Oaks, all of Eagle Canyon, Apache Trail, Stonegate Ln, Comanche Trail, Indian Hill, Mindy CT, Oak Hollow Dr, Quail Haven, N Rock Creek, Lonesome Dove, Horseman's Alley, China Spring HWY, Old China Spring Rd, Old Ranch Rd, Baylor Camp Rd, April Ln, Quail Medows, Ringer Pl, Woodland Cir.) that had a mechanical failure has been repaired and we are currently waiting on test results to come back. Once the test have showed that it is cleared to put back into operation we will send out a final notice advising that the restriction has been lifted.

As of today 4/24/2026 we have had a second well that supplies the Hills of Childress Creek subdivision have mechanical failure. The entire subdivision is now on water restriction. Contractors have been contacted and have scheduled to come out tomorrow 4/25/2026 to start pulling the well to start replacing any needed parts.
