Today marks an exciting new chapter for public safety in Chino . I had the privilege of attending Chino PD’s unveiling ceremony for their new helicopter—a project I was deeply honored to support with a $1 million donation.

In a growing region, airborne support is a game-changer for critical incidents, tracking, and community policing. Knowing that this resource will directly assist first responders in saving lives and protecting neighborhoods is the greatest return on investment anyone could ask for.

My sincere thanks to the leadership and officers at Chino PD for their partnership and for their daily sacrifices to keep us safe.

Recently, I stopped by the Upland Pop Warner Outlaws-Football League, and my colleague, Supervisor Jesse Armendarez, and I made a contribution to support the revival of their program.

It takes a lot of behind-the-scenes work and resources to keep youth leagues running smoothly, and we’re happy to play a small part in helping these athletes succeed. Have a great season, team! 🙌

Today, we celebrated a major milestone for the future of emergency services in our region: the official ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Valley Communications Center! 🪓🚨🎀

From our high deserts to our mountain peaks, our county faces unique public safety challenges. This state-of-the-art facility is our bold, forward-looking answer. By consolidating operations into one high-tech hub, we are bringing Next-Gen 911 capabilities, live wildfire camera integration, drone imagery data, and real-time collaboration between dispatchers, nurses, and mental health clinicians under one roof.

The result? Faster response times, better situational awareness, and a safer community. 🚓🚒🚑

A huge thank you to county leadership, the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department Sheriff's, Confire, Ready San Bernardino County OES, and all the project teams who made this vision a reality. Together, we are building a safer, more resilient San Bernardino County!

I'd like to give a huge thank you to the Chino Valley Real Estate Professionals group for inviting me to speak at their monthly meeting.

We covered everything from major countywide initiatives to specific Fourth District updates that impact our local housing market and community growth.

Thank you to everyone who attended and brought such great energy and questions to the table!

Recently, I had the opportunity to speak at the ONT Global Business Connect Symposium, hosted by the Taiwanese-American Chamber of Commerce of Greater Los Angeles, alongside my colleague, Ontario International Airport CEO, Atif Elkadi.

We had a great conversation about the impact ONT continues to have on the Inland Empire, from trade and business opportunities to infrastructure and capacity expansion, workforce development, community partnerships, and energy innovation.

It’s exciting to see how collaboration between business leaders, local agencies, and regional partners continues to create new opportunities and strengthen our economy for the future. Thank you to everyone who helped make this event possible!

I had the honor of emceeing and welcoming attendees to this year’s City County Conference, where regional leaders, policymakers, and industry experts came together to discuss the future of San Bernardino County.

One of the highlights was San Bernardino County Fire’s demonstration of their quadruped “robot dog” technology, designed to help firefighters safely investigate hazardous environments without putting personnel at risk. It was an incredible example of how innovation and public safety continue to work hand in hand.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this important regional conversation possible!

Today, it was an absolute honor to join the community for the official ribbon-cutting of the brand-new Orel Hershiser Chevrolet!

We all know Orel as a Dodgers legend and a true competitor on the mound (his nickname is Bulldog), but today we celebrate his investment in San Bernardino County. Bringing a premier dealership to Chino means more than just a great selection of vehicles; it means local jobs, a strong boost to our regional economy, and a lasting commitment to our community's growth.

Congratulations to Orel and his entire team on opening this beautiful new facility. Thank you for choosing the Fourth District, and welcome to Chino! 🤝🎉
