The "Youth of Educational Foundation" (YEF)
will promote relief to help the underprivileged and disadvantaged youth in
their poverty stricken communities by empowering them to realize their full

rom infancy to eighteen years old
What will (YEF4) offer: Targeted programming and campaigns to improve the social conditions (ie. Sierra Leone, Liberia, Nigeria, and Ghana. How: Primarily through donor based fund raising projects. By identifying and building strategic partnerships with similar community based organizations on the ground ( in the four African countries of operation) our work can have a greater impact. Help will come from the continent and the Diaspora. When: Within the next year, the foundation/ land, building should be up and running. Projection year-2017
Why: ( motivation for starting this non-profit): In the instances of Sierra Leone and Liberia, years of devastation from civil wars have left both countries economically dilapidated, limited access to resources has drastically changed the livelihoods of most , particularly the youth from more disadvantaged backgrounds. Purpose: Through charitable contributions the youth center will provide Homeless shelter, food for the needy, home for motherless babies, pregnant youth, non-profit child care center, and after school programs. In addition, boys and girls charitable youth sport organization national/international competitions and tournaments will be hosted to instill pride and sense of sportsmanship amongst the youth to bring awareness to health and fitness as a way of life. Bring awareness through educational opportunities which would include vocational training, life skills, outlets for creative expression, and religions awareness. Health care needs will address clean water through building wells which will aid and help stop the spreading of cholera and malaria diseases while providing vaccinations for the youth. There will also be awareness programs on HIV, STD’s, through prostitution and unprotected sex.
