Today, the Chino Valley Fire District Board of Directors recognized three members of our department:

Battalion Chief Kinne — 25 years of service
Joshua Baldwin — Promotion to Engineer
Engineer Jeff Tytula — Retirement after 32 years of service

Congratulations to Battalion Chief Kinne and Engineer Baldwin on these accomplishments, and thank you to Engineer Tytula for 32 years of dedicated service to the Chino Valley community. We wish you all the best in the next chapter.

Chino Valley Fire responded to a structure fire on the 2900 block of Sunny Brook Ln. The fire was well involved upon arrival and was quickly knocked down by firefighters.

Units will remain on scene for several hours to complete overhaul operations and ensure the fire is fully extinguished.

ROAD CLOSURE: Sunny Brook Lane is closed between Crescent Ridge Lane and Pacific Vista. Please avoid the area while crews continue their work.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
