MISSING CHILD SAFELY LOCATED – THANK YOU TO OUR LAW ENFORCEMENT AND FIRE PARTNERS
On August 28 at approximately 4:30 p.m., Chino Valley Police Officers responded to a report of a missing 8-year-old boy. The child had been playing outside his residence and was last seen approximately 45 minutes before he was reported missing.
As Chino Valley officers gathered information and began the search, personnel from the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office, Partners Against Narcotics Trafficking (PANT), and Central Arizona Fire and Medical Authority (CAFMA) heard what was happening and immediately responded to help search for this young boy, without being asked.
Approximately 35 minutes after the search began, the young boy was located safe and unharmed.
The Chino Valley Police Department would like to express our sincere appreciation to YCSO, PANT, and CAFMA for their immediate response and willingness to assist.
Incidents like this demonstrate what public safety is truly about. There were no jurisdictional boundaries and no hesitation, just law enforcement officers and first responders coming together with one goal: find this child and bring him home safely.
We are incredibly proud of our officers and grateful to work alongside such exceptional public safety professionals.
