22nd Annual Run for Russ!

Today Officers Rowland and Cortes presented a $500 donation to the Ramona Jr. PBIS program on behalf of the Chino Police Officers’ Foundation.

The program rewards students for making good decisions and doing the right thing, such as showing up to school on time, maintaining good attendance, and completing their homework.

Students earn “Ramona bucks” and they can redeem them for snacks and other rewards.

Several students saved their “Ramona bucks” for and redeemed them for a demonstration with our K-9 unit! These demos are very popular with the students and are held every couple months.

Santa was spotted spreading Christmas cheer in the streets of Chino tonight.

Several Foundation board members, along with employees of the Chino Police Dept, Chino Hills Sheriffs Dept and the Chino Valley Fire District had an opportunity to take local children on a shopping spree at the 18th annual Make a Child Smile event. This event was held at Walmart in Chino and made possible by generous donations from local businesses and organizations, including the Foundation. We were honored to be included in such a wonderful community event!

The Chino Police Officers’ Foundation was on hand at the YMCA Reindeer Romp this morning sharing information on our Run For Russ memorial run, passing out giveaways to participants and collecting toy donations for Santa’s sleigh!

Thanks to the Mounted Posse for allowing our officer to help deliver Thanksgiving dinners to those in need. The Mounted Posse donated and delivered 45 meals this morning.
