K-8 Tuition Free Public Charter School

Mission and Vision:

The mission of Allegiance STEAM Academy is to teach students the academic, social-emotional, and character skills needed to be college and career ready. Allegiance students will develop as critical thinkers, civic leaders, and socially responsible citizens that are integral to their communities and beyond. The v

ision of Allegiance STEAM Academy is to establish a safe school environment in which students are inspired to take risks to gain skills to be successful in the local and global communities. Allegiance STEAM Academy will be a harbor of innovation and accountability where students, staff and families are key collaborators in the decision-making processes. Core Values:

Allegiance STEAM Academy will fulfill this mission and vision by utilizing our core values.

1. Personalized Learning Environment – Students learn best in small learning communities where their education is personalized so that students know their teachers and are well known as individuals by all adults in the school.

2. College and Career Readiness for All Students – All students, including students in historically underachieving communities, can successfully learn at high levels and have a fundamental right to high expectations and quality instruction that prepare them to enter and succeed in college and career choices.

3. Parents as Partners – Parents are meaningfully and actively engaged in their children’s education. They have a right to choose to send their children to excellent high performing schools. They must understand what it will take to prepare their children for college and career choices, and they must support the goals of the school through their voice and through volunteering. Allegiance STEAM Academy must create a welcoming atmosphere of inclusiveness for all families.

4. Data Driven Decisions – All decisions should be made after thorough data analysis (both quantitative and qualitative). In order for our students to be prepared for success, Allegiance STEAM Academy must relentlessly pursue excellence in all data points.

5. Community Service – The school must be an extension of the community. It is our responsibility to provide opportunities for students and families to participate in community service projects and understand their role in the local and global communities.

6. Character Development – For students to fully realize their true potential, we must focus on developing character traits (including grit, respect, leadership, and love) that allow Allegiance STEAM Academy students to embody and demonstrate our mission and vision. We will develop shared language and expectations that allow for all stakeholders to support the growth of our students.

From pronunciation to performance, our Wolves took to the stage to demonstrate their Mandarin skills! 🐺🎤🇨🇳

This past Saturday, students from Allegiance STEAM Academy Chino and Allegiance STEAM Academy Fontana proudly represented ASA Thrive at the Southern California Council of Chinese Schools Group Poetry Recitation Competition in El Monte — competing alongside Chinese language schools from across Southern California.

After weeks of practicing pronunciation, memorization, expression, teamwork, and stage presence, our students delivered incredible performances in front of a large audience, and we’re thrilled to celebrate their achievements:

🏆 ASA Chino — 2nd Place
🏆 ASA Fontana — 3rd Place

More than a competition, this was a powerful opportunity for students to celebrate language learning, culture, confidence, and the art of public speaking. We’re so proud of the dedication, courage, and collaboration our students demonstrated on stage. 🌟

Numbers, laughter, and family time—what a perfect equation! 🧮✨

Across both our Chino and Fontana campuses, Family Math Nights brought learning to life in the most exciting ways!

At our Chino campus, our final Family Math Night of the year was filled with engaging games, hands-on activities, and exciting challenges that had families solving puzzles, cracking codes, and experiencing math in action. It was a night that proved math isn’t just something you learn—it’s something you experience together.

Meanwhile in Fontana, families explored The Game of Life 🎲—a fun, interactive way to connect math to real-world decisions. Students “traveled” through life by choosing paths like college or career, earning and spending money, and practicing key skills like budgeting, addition, subtraction, and understanding needs vs. wants.

Whether solving challenges or navigating life’s big decisions, both nights showed how math truly connects to everyday life. Thank you to all of our Wolfpack families who joined us and made these events so memorable! 🐺💚

Today, across both our Chino and Fontana campuses, we had the honor of celebrating the heart of our school community—our incredible volunteers. 💚

The impact of our volunteers is felt in every corner of ASA. From supporting classrooms and organizing events, to helping us move campuses, chaperoning field trips, decorating for school dances, and bringing festivals and fundraisers to life—you make it all happen.

This is what true partnership looks like. When families and schools come together with a shared purpose, our students benefit in powerful ways. Because of you, our programs are stronger, our community is more connected, and our students are surrounded by support, care, and opportunity.

To every volunteer who gives their time, energy, and heart—thank you. We are endlessly grateful for the role you play in making ASA such a special place. You are an essential part of our Wolf Pack. 🐺

Big impact starts with small moments 💛

Our Big Buddies are showing what leadership truly looks like—guiding, encouraging, and building meaningful connections with our kindergarten students. Through mentorship and positive role modeling, these relationships help our youngest learners feel supported, confident, and excited to grow.

Our 6th graders took learning beyond the classroom walls with a field experience to East Valley Water District! 💧

During their visit, students explored the full journey of water—from collection to treatment—discovering the science and engineering behind making water safe for our communities. They engaged with real-world systems, asked thoughtful questions, and saw firsthand how innovation and responsibility intersect in public services.

This experience directly connects to 6th grade science standards, where students study Earth’s systems, water cycles, and human impact on natural resources. By observing water treatment in action, scholars deepened their understanding of how science is applied to solve real-world challenges and protect public health.

Learning is more powerful when students can see it, question it, and experience it. This is what STEAM in action looks like! 🌎✨

There’s something powerful about seeing learning click.

Our first graders are exploring tens and ones as they build their understanding of place value. Through hands-on activities, students group, count and discuss how numbers work—turning abstract math concepts into something they can see and understand.

Moments like these are where confidence in math begins. At Allegiance STEAM Academy, we believe learning comes to life when students actively explore ideas together.
