Greetings, Parents!

Washington County School District is pleased to support an ACT Preparation Camp June 8-11, that is designed to provide students with a focused and supportive learning environment that strengthens their readiness for the ACT assessment. Through high-quality tutoring, targeted instruction, and proven test-taking strategies, students will build confidence and improve their academic skills in English, Reading, Mathematics, and Science.

The camp will offer engaging learning experiences, practice assessments, strategies, and individualized support to help students identify strengths and areas for growth. Certified educators will guide students through rigorous preparation activities that promote college and career readiness while equipping them with the tools needed for success on the ACT.
Parents, please remember that this learning activity is a study prep camp only. Students who are registered for the Act Prep Study Camp are NOT automatically registered for the ACT assessment offered on June 13th.
Students who have registered for the ACT assessment Saturday, June 13th should have registered by
May 29, 2026 in order to officially take the ACT assessment offered on Saturday, June 13th.
Note:

On this Memorial Day, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation. Their courage and dedication have secured the freedoms we cherish every day โ€” including the opportunity to educate and inspire our students.
We are deeply grateful for their service and for the families who carry their legacy. Today, we fly our flag high and teach our children the true meaning of patriotism, sacrifice, and gratitude.
Wishing all of our students, families, and staff a safe and meaningful Memorial Day.

Today we had the honor of visiting Chipley High and hearing directly from the students about how much they appreciate their teachers.
These are just a few of the amazing students we were able to catch this week amid their busy testing schedule, but their words were genuinely touching. From heartfelt thanks to stories of teachers who go above and beyond, it was a powerful reminder of the impact great educators make every single day.
We are so proud and incredibly thankful for all the dedicated teachers across the Washington County School District. You show up, you care, and you make a difference that lasts a lifetime.
Keep shining! ๐Ÿ‘โค๏ธ
