The RECYCLING CENTER AREA AND THE BRUSH & LEAF SITE IS NOT A DUMP. The dumpster located across from the maintenance building is FOR TOWN USE ONLY. If you see someone dumping please contact our office. Also, any ditch dumping is not allowed.

The Wissota Lions Club is in charge of the thrift sale. Lion Club members will be setting up in the town hall and pavilion this week and you may stop by to ask them for for information and/or requests. Contact info is listed in a previous post for DeWayne with the Lion's Club. Thank you.

Accepting donations of tools & operating power tools , household items, furniture, toys, bicycles, yard & gardening items, clean wearable clothing. NO tv's or electronics! To schedule a drop off time or a pick up of items, please contact DeWayne 715 577-8751. *Note: We will have a consignment area available for a $ 10.00 fee per space to sell cars, trucks, boats, etc. Thank you.

The Lake Wissota Lions Club is hosting a Spring Thrift Sale this Saturday, April 25th, 2026, 9AM TO 3PM at the town hall and their pavilion. Contact Duane at 715 577-7851 regarding donations ** NOTE: This is the same day as our Spring Clean Up Day with dumpsters located near the recreation building. PLEASE BE CAREFUL IN THE AREA AS THERE WILL BE A GREAT AMOUNT OF ACTIVITY **

DUMPSTER ITEMS ACCEPTED: Household trash, general garbage, furniture (couches, tables, desks), and mattresses, some construction debris such as carpet. Feel free to stop by with questions before loading your trash.
** Electronic items such as TV's, monitors, desktop computers, keyboards, camera's, printers, scanners, fax machine and other misc. electronics. **
NOT ACCEPTED AT CLEAN UP DUMPSTERS:
NO shingles, tires, any hazardous and/or poisonous materials. This includes pesticides, lawn care products, paint cans, motor oil, gas and batteries. NO Large appliances like washing machines, dryers, hot water tanks and dishwashers.
