Many of you are already members of LPWI. If you are not, please give it some thought.
The LPWI is about providing another choice on election ballots for those who feel left out or abandoned by the two major parties. Those who would prefer a more limited government with more personal freedom and responsibility seldom seem to have that choice when presented with only R or D at election time.

If you are someone who is looking for political alternatives, please give the Libertarian party a look. Add your voice to the conversation with those who are fed up with "business as usual" politics. Toss your ideas into the ring with other alternative solutions and answers to today's problems and issues, something other than the tax and spend solutions constantly offered up by those currently in power.

Attention and information are key. Social media is a growing source of both. Help us spread the LPWI word by joining the conversations and discussions. Please take some time to help promote the LPWI pages, area affiliate pages, and related local discussion pages and/or groups on face book or other social media platforms. Invite folks who you think would be interested. We need to grow our social media footprint now to make it a more powerful tool come election time.

Folks can't make choices if they don't know they have them. Help us let them know when they do and where they are. The link below will take you to the membership page on our website.

Greetings.

As many of you probably know, the Libertarian party recently selected Jo Jorgensen and Spike Cohen as candidates for President and Vice President.

What you may not know is that the Libertarian Party does not have automatic ballot status in Wisconsin for the 2020 Presidential candidates.

As a result of this, nomination papers will have to be circulated on their behalf in order for them to be included on the ballot in November.

The LPWI is working on the details of a plan to gather the needed signatures (2000-4000) and get them turned in by the August 4 deadline. Signatures can not be collected before July 1 so the period to collect is not that long.

The plan includes mailing nomination papers, pre filled with all candidate and elector info included, to all LPWI members and anyone else who would volunteer to circulate or sign them. If you would like to help circulate or even just sign, please let us know at [email protected]. If you can help circulate please include your mailing address so we can get the papers to you.

The plan is coming together nicely but will take some funding for paper, printing, and postage. If you could donate to help out, it would be greatly appreciated. The link to the contribution page of the website is https://lpwi.org/donate/ .

There is much to be done to make this a successful campaign for Jorgensen / Cohen and the Libertarian party. We hope that you will follow along or even join in.
