Had fun fishing with Paul,
Nevin, Esther and Ruth last night! 6 year old Nevin is a fishing machine! He and his sister Ruth both landed walleyes as I will still setting slip bobbers on the other rods!! Mixed bag of walleye, crappie and catfish last night.

A smoky morning with Greg and Zak (the Deer Slayer) from Prairie Du Chien on Lake Wissota! Mixed bag of smallmouth, walleye, crappie, pills and CATFISH! The catfish population in Lake Wissota is alive and well, and they were smashing both live bait and artificial alike!

This is the coolest thing! I was fortunate enough to participate again in Casting Light Upon the Waters on the Chippewa Flowage this year! Folks from various different organizations and backgrounds got together today to partake in food and fishing. Also in attendance were Packer legends and Super Bowl champions Gilbert Brown, William Henderson and Earl Dotson (for Vikings fans, a Super Bowl champion is someone who is better than every other team in that given year, the trophy is named after the coach of the Green Bay Packers)

I had a blast with Josh from the Lac Du Flambeau and Julie from the Wisconsin DNR in my boat today! We found the smallies STACKED UP!!! And caught some hogs! (Biggest a hair under 20). Also big spawning bluegills were inhaling our Ned rigs!!! An awesome time as always. 🎣
