Come join us to cheer on and support members of the Northern Wisconsin State Fair Meat Animal Program (MAP) on Thursday, July 9, 2026 in the NWSF Custer Coliseum at 6:00pm *Registration begins at 4:00pm*

You’re invited to this year’s Northern Wisconsin State Fair Meat Animal Program Auction, where members are represented through their Chippewa County 4-H and FFA youth organizations.

The Northern Wisconsin State Fair (NWSF) Meat Animal Program was developed to promote agricultural education, responsible project management, and hands-on learning in livestock and animal production. Through the planning, daily care, management, and exhibition of their projects, youth develop valuable life skills including responsibility, communication, recordkeeping, financial management, teamwork, leadership, and ethical animal care. Exhibiting livestock showcases months of dedication, hard work, and learning.

By attending and supporting the NWSF Meat Animal Program Auction, you are investing in youth development, agricultural education, and the future of our agricultural communities and youth leaders.

Join us for a fun, hands-on First Aid Day! Youth will learn how to respond to common injuries, stay calm in emergencies, and know when to get adult help—plus, they’ll create their very own first aid kit to take home. This day camp has a maximum capacity of 18 participants.
Open to ALL youth in 4th–8th grade

‼️ Hey everyone! We’re still looking for certified lifeguards to help keep our campers safe and give them the chance to cool off and enjoy the water on those hot summer days.

Today we had the pleasure of welcoming summer interns from across the area! Chippewa, Dunn, and Eau Claire counties are each hosting interns who will support 4-H programming, outreach, and capacity-building efforts.

During our onboarding, interns explored 4-H Positive Youth Development, learned more about the UW–Madison Division of Extension, discussed opportunities for summer collaboration, and began building connections with staff and one another.
We’re excited for a summer filled with meaningful projects, learning, and plenty of spark opportunities. Welcome, Sam, Echo, and Sydney! 🍀
