From Chireno ISD: Chireno ISD is deeply saddened by the sudden passing of School Board Secretary David Smith. David served the district faithfully as a board member over the past six years, and during that time helped lead the district through wisdom and with a servant’s heart for students, faculty, and staff. He always made decisions by acting on what he felt was right for all of our school stakeholders, and his infectious positivity and steady presence will be missed in the district. Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife Jennifer and children Hannah and Colton.

STAAR 3rd-8th will be available Tuesday, June 16th.

Scores may also be accessed by logging in to Parent Portal and clicking the "State Assessment" button.
