Attention Residents:

We are aware that some residents have not received their tax bills and that certain tax payments have not been delivered to the Town in a timely manner. This appears to be an issue with the United States Postal Service.

We have contacted the Postal Service regarding this matter and were advised that individual residents must file complaints directly to the United States Postal Service.

Please know that we understand how frustrating this situation is. Unfortunately, this matter is beyond the Town's control. We have also been informed that other local and state municipalities are experiencing similar issues.

If we do receive your tax payment in the mail postmarked on or before the date due, we will waive the late fees that were added to your bill.

We appreciate your patience and understanding. If you have not received your tax bill, we encourage you to contact the Town Tax Office at (315) 687-7221 for assistance in obtaining your bill amount.

We take great pride in the services we offer at the Town of Sullivan and want to be transparent on all issues.

REQUEST FOR QUOTES – LANDSCAPING & GROUNDS SERVICES

The Town of Sullivan is seeking quotes from contractors for seasonal landscaping and grounds maintenance at Town properties (April–October).

Vendors may quote one or more service categories, including cemetery mowing and grounds care.

Voluntary Water Conservation Now in Effect

On behalf of the Town of Sullivan, I would like to inform residents that the
Onondaga County Water Authority (OCWA) has transitioned from
mandatory to voluntary water conservation for customers affected by the
recent break in a large-diameter transmission main.

OCWA has completed repairs to the main with the installation of a new
replacement pipe. The newly installed section has been filled and pressurized,
and water quality testing is currently underway. This testing will continue
until all required regulatory standards are met and the water is confirmed safe
for customer use. Once testing is complete, normal system flows will be
restored.

During this period of voluntary conservation, OCWA is asking customers to
remain mindful of their water usage. Voluntary conservation will remain in
effect until the Eastern Reservoir, which serves the affected communities, is
restored to normal operating levels. This is expected to occur later this week.
While voluntary conservation is in effect,

OCWA is requesting that car
washes located within the affected communities limit operations to a
maximum of 10 hours per day.
Voluntary water conservation is currently in effect for the following
municipalities:

1. Town of DeWitt (including the Village of East Syracuse and customers
served by the DeWitt Water System)
2. Town of Manlius (including the Villages of Minoa, Fayetteville, and
Manlius)
3. Town of Pompey
4. Town of Lenox (including the Village of Canastota)
5. Town of Lincoln
6. Town of Sullivan (including the Village of Chittenango)
The Town appreciates the cooperation of our residents and businesses during
this time.

There are no significant updates at this time. All systems remain stable and are functioning as expected. Sheet piling is complete, wells have been drilled, and dewatering of the site is underway. The next OCWA briefing is scheduled for tomorrow morning.

As of this morning, the water system situation in Madison County continues to improve.

• Water conservation should continue, as it remains very effective.
• There are no concerns regarding schools opening next week.
• Repair work is progressing. Sheet piling is complete in the area with overhead power lines, and crews are now working in open air, which should speed up the process. Repairs are still expected to take an additional 10–14 days.
No further updates are planned until Monday morning unless new issues arise.
