☀️ The countdown to Summer Garden Storytime is ON! 🌿🌸
We had the absolute best time kicking things off with herb planting at the KA Brett School’s Family Fun Night! The warm air and perfect summer breezes made for the ultimate preview of the sunny season ahead.
This is just the beginning of our summer partnership between the Chocorua Public Library and the KA Brett Gardens. Join us every Wednesday at 3:00 PM starting July 1st for stories, garden exploration, and awesome hands-on activities like building bee hotels, planting zinnias, and apple tasting!

🎉 WE ARE OPEN! 🎉
The wait is over—our gorgeous new floors are officially in, the furniture is reset, and we are open normal hours today, Monday 5/18! 12pm-6pm 📚✨
We’re still waiting on some beautiful new area rugs to complete the look, but we couldn’t wait to welcome you back. Come check out the fresh new look and grab your next great read. See you soon! 👋

Things are looking a bit different inside the Chocorua Public Library. As we set up on our gorgeous new floors, you’ll notice some layout changes and a few missing pieces—all part of making room for an exciting fresh start!

Out with the old, in with the new! 🏗️📖 We’ve officially pulled up the old carpets, and the library floor is prepped and ready for its fresh look. It’s the start of an exciting new chapter for this historic space, and we think Hadley Richardson Hemingway Mowrer would be proud of the transformation. Stay tuned for the big reveal! ✨

Hadley Hemingway had an eye for style! 💅✨
In 1968, Hadley Richardson Hemingway Mowrer picked out the very carpets that still grace our floors today. At the time, the library invested $2,000 in them—the equivalent of over $18,000 today!
These carpets have seen us through many eras, but their chapter is coming to an end. We’re getting ready for a fresh look! 📖🧹
