Today’s meeting was our noon meeting for the month of May. Katie Whitcomb and Branden Burns talked to us about the new phone company Hilliary. They now have a local office (the old TDS building on Main St) that you can stop by and get help with any issues you have with your phone or internet service.

Penny Ridenour with the Alzheimer’s Association Oklahoma Chapter was our speaker tonight. So many families are affected now.
One of our members has had a team in the past and is encouraging us to join her team.

If all would try to live by these four things what a great place we could have.

At Rotary District 5750, the Four-Way Test is more than tradition - it’s our foundation.

Jose from Warrior from Freedom Foundation was our speaker tonight. He talked about the struggles that veterans deal with on a daily basis and how they are trying to help.
They have a resale shop to help raise money at 4616 N Western and can take any thing you want to donate. They employ two veterans at this shop. They have multiple services for veterans that you need to check out. They have a beer through Coop that donates funds for each 6 pack sold.

What a fun time was had this morning by several Rotarians as we opened and sorted the many sacks of food that came from the USPS Food drive.

EOC Rotary Interact Club members cleaned up and planted red,white and blue flowers at the Veterans Memorial in Choctaw Saturday. This is a community based service club for youth 14 to 18 years of age. If you are interested or have a child interested in community service, you can contact the club at 405-464-6048.
