Today, we remember Border Patrol Agent Intern Nathaniel Afolayan who passed away the day after collapsing at the Border Patrol Academy in New Mexico. He had just completed the 1.5-mile run portion of the physical techniques final exam when he collapsed.

Today, we remember Border Patrol Agent Stephen M. Sullivan.
On the morning of March 27, 1999, he tragically lost his life when his patrol vehicle rolled down a 1,100 foot cliff on Otay Mountain. Agent Sullivan was transporting seven detainees at the time of the crash. Three of the detainees were killed and the other four were injured.
