The early years matter, and having the right support can make a lasting difference for your little ones. MAAC’s Child Development Program helps children ages 0 to 5 build the skills they need for school and beyond through play, learning, and connection.

We are now accepting applications for the 2026-2027 school year, with additional Early Head Start openings in Carlsbad and San Ysidro and preschool openings in Vista, Fallbrook, and Escondido.

Pay a large portion of your income toward rent or housing? You may still qualify. Housing costs can be considered when determining eligibility.

MAAC’s Weatherization Program provides free improvements like air sealing, ventilation support, and safety features including smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. MAAC’s Child Development Program supports children ages 0 to 5 and help families connect to care. From doctors to dentists and other community services, our team can guide you to the resources you need.
