Hawking Charter School opened its doors in June of 2012. We currently are serving grades Pre-K through 6th grade and will continue our growth annually until grade 12. We are currently designing a brand new school for TK-12 for the 2018 school year. It will be located 3-4 miles from our current location.

USDA relies on local schools and organizations to sponsor Summer Meal Programs and operate sites. Individuals, schools, and community organizations can help connect eligible children to Summer Meals. Sites are located in many communities, especially in low-income areas.

Our Story

Stephen W. Hawking Charter School opened its doors in June of 2012. We currently are serving grades K through 8th grade and will continue our growth annually until grade 12. Welcome back to what is sure to be an exciting 2019-20 school year! It is hard to believe that we are finally in our facility, change and renewed growth are all around us. Everything about this new year gives us hope, but especially the renewed commitment to educate our Hbots. As you are the most important educator in your child’s life, we would like to thank you for allowing us to partner with you this year on this very important journey. Together we can achieve wonderful things.
