Yesterday was a great day at the Mobile County Firefighter Competition at Grand Bay Fire Station. Our team gave it everything and finished 3rd overall across all events.

Grateful for the chance to compete, the support, and the good times with everyone involved.

The members of Georgetown-Fellowship V.F.D. send our sincere condolences to Semmes Fire Rescue and Chief Brooks’ loved ones. His service, courage, and leadership embody the very best of the fire service. We stand with you in grief and in gratitude for a life dedicated to others. Rest in peace, Chief.

The City of Semmes is saddened to share the passing of our Fire Chief, who faithfully served this community for many years. After a courageous battle with cancer, he passed away last night.

Chief Kevin Brooks dedicated his life to protecting and serving the people of Semmes. His leadership, commitment, and steady presence helped shape our fire department and made our community a safer place. Beyond his role as Fire Chief, he was a neighbor, mentor, and friend to many.

We are deeply grateful for the years he gave to this city and the example he set through his service and character. His legacy will continue to live on through the firefighters he led and the countless lives he touched.

Please keep his family, friends, and the members of the Semmes Fire Department in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Rest in peace, Chief.

Merry Christmas from all of us at the Georgetown Fellowship Volunteer Fire Department! ❤️🎄

This season reminds us how grateful we are to serve such an incredible community. From our volunteers who leave their families at a moment’s notice, to the families who support them, to every neighbor who waves, donates, prays, or simply says thank you… you are the reason we do what we do.

Christmas is about service, sacrifice, and showing up for one another, and we are honored to do that for Georgetown Fellowship and the surrounding community every day of the year.

We hope your homes are filled with warmth, peace, and joy this Christmas. Please stay safe, take care of one another, and know that we are always here when you need us.

Merry Christmas and God bless,
Georgetown Fellowship Volunteer Fire Department! đźš’
