Our Summer Learning Camp students had a sweet time making their own ice cream with the help of the UT Extension Office! Thank you for providing this fun, hands-on learning experience that combined science, teamwork, and a delicious treat.

A big thank you to Diamond Exchange for supporting our CHMS Robotics Summer Program with a delicious lunch from Fazoli’s! We are so proud of the students who participated and continued learning throughout the summer.

Mrs. Bright does an outstanding job leading this program and providing students with exciting opportunities to explore robotics, technology, and teamwork. Thank you to everyone who helps make experiences like this possible for our students!

REMINDER: Tomorrow, Thursday, June 4 is our summer meal pick-up day! Free bulk food boxes are available for all children ages 0 to 18. Each child will receive food equivalent to seven days of meals, including fresh fruits and vegetables, Mayfield milk, frozen items, and pantry staples.

You can pick up your meals between 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM at either Joseph Rogers Primary or Volunteer High School. To help us accommodate our afternoon Summer Camp traffic, we kindly ask that you do not begin lining up before 2:30 PM.

Please note that children currently enrolled in our Summer Learning Camp will receive a 2-day equivalent food box since they are fed during camp.

Mark your calendars for our upcoming June pick-up dates as well: that’s June 11th, 18th, and 25th. Thank you, and have a wonderful summer!
