Churdan’s new truck passed pump testing today. This was the final step in the process before being fully ready to respond to calls and pump water at a fire.

Thank you Greene County Community Foundation for funding our project. The Churdan Fire Department was awarded 32,000 dollars earlier this year to purchase new bunker gear. The new gear has arrived and already been put to use. This project would not have been possible with support for GCCF.

The Churdan Fire Department was awarded 103,500 dollars from Grow Greene County to upgrade one of our pumper trucks. The new chassis has already been delivered and the building process will start sometime mid April with a completion date of sometime mid summer. This project would not have been possible without this grant. Thank you Grow Greene County for the support.
