The Town Council meeting for 9/2/26 has been cancelled. The next meeting will be 9/16/26 at 6 pm.

The park playground will tentatively be closed next Thursday(13) & Friday(14) for turf repairs. This is subject to weather conditions and I will update as needed. This company does work on the weekends, so the dates will just move forward if needed.

The regular Council meeting for 8/5/26 has been cancelled due to lack or quorum. The next meeting will be 8/19/2026 at 6 p.m.

The new cans will start to be delivered TODAY! Please help get the word out to your neighbors.

The Town of Churubusco is switching trash providers!

The last pickup from Waste Management will be THURSDAY, JULY 30. Make sure ALL Waste Management (or Advance Disposal) cans are to the curb, regardless of how full they may be, on Wednesday night.

GFL will be delivering their cans this week. They will be black with green lids. Please start using those starting July 31.

Trash day will continue to be Thursday.

The Town Council will also be considering a change in lowering the trash rates for customers who utilize trash services. The introduction of that ordinance will be at the next Council meeting, Wednesday, August 19.

Greetings fine residents,
Happy Wednesday! I will be flushing hydrants next week. 20th thru 25th. I’ll stay in Thresher/ Turtle Meadow all day Monday. Tuesday I will finish up section 1 then move to the other sections. Hydrant schedule is set up just like the leaf schedule.
Reminder on mowing! Everyone should have received a note on their bill.
Junk day is April 23. Please have everything out night before. They start early!
If you live on a Douglas, Weston or Conway. We will be back to fill in holes, plant grass and any other item that needs tended too.
