The Cicero Volunteer Fire Department was formed in the spring of 1883 by several residents of the Town of Cicero who recognized the need for a fire department to provide fire and medical coverage to those within or passing through the town. Pickup, (1) Heavy Rescue, (3) Engines, (1) Ladder Truck and (4) Chiefs Vehicles. The department has 70+ members, and answers on average of 900+ fire / ems alar

ms each year. In 2020 we are celebrating 137 years of service to the residents of the Town of the Cicero.

🥎 COMMUNITY PRIDE. CHAMPIONSHIP SPIRIT. FIRST RESPONDER SUPPORT. 🥎

On Friday evening, several local emergency service agencies came together to support the Cicero-North Syracuse Girls Softball Team and provide an es**rt back to CNS High School following their outstanding accomplishment.

Members from the following agencies staged apparatus and personnel in anticipation of the team’s arrival, creating a memorable welcome and showing the strength of our community partnership:

🚒 South Bay Fire Department
🚓 Cicero Police Department, NY

The pictures capture some of the emergency service personnel and apparatus gathered while awaiting the team’s arrival. It was an honor to be part of recognizing these student-athletes and celebrating their hard work, dedication, and success.

Tonight is a special evening for the members of the Cicero-North Syracuse High School Class of 2026 as they gather with friends to celebrate the CNS Senior Ball.

As you prepare for an evening filled with laughter, dancing, and unforgettable moments, remember to take time to enjoy every second. These are the memories that will stay with you long after graduation and serve as reminders of the friendships, experiences, and accomplishments that have shaped your journey.
