Gray County Sheriff’s Office would like to congratulate Investigator Tony Escarcgea and Deputy Juan Alvarado on their actions taken to save a life. On June 15th, 2026, Investigator Escarcgea and Deputy Alvarado assisted Gray County EMS on a call regarding an unresponsive person. By deliberate actions taken by everyone at this call, this person’s life was ultimately saved as a result. Both Investigator Escarcgea and Deputy Alvarado received a certificate of recognition and a life saving pin for their efforts on behalf of Gray County EMS on August 20th 2026. Well done Gentlemen!!
