Join Seasons on the Green Monday, September 14, and help us knock loneliness and isolation out one swing at a time for elderly friends at Little Brothers - Friends of the Elderly - Cincinnati, OH!

Nearly 1 in 4 older adults experience social isolation. For older adults with little to no family support, your participation helps provide the visits, celebrations, outings, and meaningful connections that remind our elders they are not alone.

🥳Birthday visits at Little Brothers - Friends of the Elderly - Cincinnati, OH just got even better thanks to our friends at Balloon Parlor! 🎂💐

Each month, our elderly friends celebrating birthdays receive a bag filled with gifts and goodies, a beautiful bouquet of flowers, and a delicious freshly baked cake made and donated by Angela Harrison on their special day!

Thanks to Tashonda, Owner and Operator of the The Balloon Parlor, celebrations are getting an extra POP!🎈 Tashonda has graciously donated festive balloon displays to bring even more joy to our birthday visits as we ensure our elderly friends are celebrated and remembered throughout the year.

This month's Art Club was a full house! The afternoon was filled with creativity, connection, and the kind of easy companionship that grows when volunteers and elderly friends come together with open hearts. Our time together was a beautiful reminder of what makes our LBFE community so special.

We're just one month away from the 29th Annual Tom Wess Memorial Golf Outing, our final fundraising event of the year!

As a privately funded nonprofit, events like this help fuel our mission throughout the year. Following yesterday's severe storms, power outages and storm damage continue to impact parts of our community - and more storms and hot weather are expected in the days ahead.

We're asking the community to take a few minutes to check in on older adults in your life and neighborhood.

Be sure to ask:
- Do you have power?
- Do you have food, water, medications?
- Is there anything you need support with?

For our LBFE volunteers and community, if you are unable to reach your elderly friend after multiple attempts, please contact the LBFE team so we can follow up.

Connection is a safety net, thank you for being one to our elderly friends.

Little Brothers - Friends of the Elderly - Cincinnati, OH is seeking an experienced and relationship-driven Development Director to help advance our mission of reducing loneliness and isolation among older adults.

This full-time leadership role will oversee fundraising strategy, donor stewardship, grant writing, corporate partnerships, special events, and other development initiatives that sustain and grow our impact throughout the Greater Cincinnati community.

If you're a nonprofit fundraising professional who is passionate about building meaningful relationships and making a lasting difference, we'd love to hear from you. If someone in your network would be a great fit, please share this opportunity.
