After having a little time to reflect about the tragedy over this past weekend, there were a few things that I would like to express.
In all of my professional experiences, I have never seen a team come together so quickly and so efficiently to address a crisis. Thousands of people volunteering their time for the foot search, all the resources that became available to us without hesitation, allowing for an aerial, foot, and water search all at the same time. It was truly amazing and we are so grateful.
To the northern Kentucky community I want to thank you above all for your kindness, your compassion and your willingness to help.  Thank you to all of the businesses that made contributions to take care the first responders and the searchers.
This community showed up with love and kindness in a beautiful way and I am so proud to be part of it.

Coroner Rittinger is attending the International Association of Coroners and Medical Examiners Conference in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Along with Kenton County Coroner Amber Constantino. Very grateful for the continued education, that was awarded to me through the IACME scholarship process.
