If you've attended our Music Hall blood drive, there's a good chance you've heard Dan Erdman playing music while donors give blood.

Dan plays guitar, piano, and several other instruments. A dedicated blood donor turned cancer survivor, he hopes to return to giving blood with Hoxworth soon now that his cancer treatment is behind him.

The Liz Bonis Blood Drive was a tremendous success, and we are incredibly grateful to everyone who came out to honor Liz's legacy. ❤️

Liz was a passionate advocate for blood donation and a true champion for blood donors throughout our community. She had a remarkable gift for sharing donor stories and bringing them to life in a way that informed, inspired, and connected people.

Thank you to every donor, volunteer, and supporter who helped make this event so meaningful. Together, we honored Liz in the best way possible by helping save lives.

David Darden is a Hoxworth employee, blood donor, and once a blood recipient. He has seen how blood donation can truly save lives.

Each day when he works at Hoxworth, he’s responsible for monitoring the blood supply in the lab and ensuring when someone is in a critical situation, Hoxworth can supply the blood thanks to donors. Recently David was asked to do a different type of donation. A white cell or granulocyte blood donation. He says that experience was different.
