Today marks 25 years since September 11, 2001 - a day that changed our nation and our fire service forever. We lost 343 members of the FDNY that morning, brothers and sisters who ran toward danger so others could get to safety. Their courage set the standard every firefighter has carried since. We will never forget.
To our CFD Members: thank you for choosing this work, knowing what it can ask of you.
To the loved ones who support our Members: thank you for the foundation you provide so our firefighters can do the work of keeping our City safe.
