Sister Alice is something of a legend in Greater Cincinnati justice and peace movement spaces. Whether she's out there advocating for our immigrant neighbors, waging peace against war, or standing up for folks on death row, Sr. Alice always shows up for what's right.

This July, she's turning the big 8-0 and we want to celebrate her! We invite you to make a gift to support Ignite Peace’s ongoing work for justice, dignity, and peace in Sr. Alice's honor.

Your contribution will help sustain advocacy, education, and organizing efforts that challenge systems of harm and build a more humane future for everyone in our state.

🌹 Happy May Day! 🌹

Today is the perfect day to flex your nonviolence and noncooperation muscles

Here's how you can show up:
✊ Strike or join a work stoppage — withdrawing your labor is one of the most peaceful, powerful acts of noncooperation there is.
🛒 Boycott — your consumer choices send an unmistakable message.
📢 March and rally — add your voice and your body to a nationwide call-to-action. Cincinnati's rally will take place at 2pm in front of City Hall on Plum St.

Showing up together, nonviolently, is one of the most time-tested ways to challenge unjust systems and create lasting change.
