A lot of students gave me their extra letters to Veterans while we were at the Army Museum to leave for the Veterans that come in. I wanted to share this letter I just received from one of those volunteers....
"I just wanted to let you know that the letters given to the volunteers at the National Museum of the United States Army were much appreciated. Not only by me, but all of the Veterans that volunteer here. The letters that did not get placed on our door were put on the table for all the read. The students were well behaved and a joy to watch and converse with.
I greeted them on the bus by shouting "O-H." They gave me a big "I-O!" I knew they were going to be a great bunch."
This Veteran happened to grow up in Dayton! Cool to see our students making a difference like this.
