Need a piece of Adaptive Equipment? Join us at one of our September Equipment Events!

Physical Therapists will be on-site to match and fit equipment, and modification experts can make in-the-moment repairs or modifications. More complex modifications may require scheduling a pick-up after the event. We generally have a variety of wheelchairs, gait trainers, standers, Hoyer lifts, and other miscellaneous equipment available.

All equipment is previously owned and is FREE to the recipient.

The event is open-house style. You will check in with a volunteer and then meet with a volunteer PT to review your equipment needs and be fitted for a piece of equipment, as we have it available.

๐ŸŽจ๐ŸŽถ Resource Spotlight: The Adaptive Arts & Music Project

Music and the arts should be accessible to everyone! The Adaptive Arts & Music Project (AAMP) helps students with physical disabilities participate in music and the arts through individualized instruction, creative adaptations, and adaptive equipment.

Their work includes the Cincinnati Adaptive Arts and Music Camp, where students can explore areas such as piano, strings, brass, guitar, ceramics, and more while finding adaptations that work for them.

Families interested in learning more about AAMP and its resources can visit:

The Adaptive Music and Arts Project (AAMP) brings together two connected efforts: researching effective ways to teach the arts adaptively and running the Cincinnati Adaptive Arts and Music Camp (CAAMC).
