OKI Regional Council of Governments

OKI Regional Council of Governments Tri-State's Regional Planning & Transportation Council for more than 100 local govts & communities

OKI has final authority over all federal dollars spent on transportation in the region. Each year, OKI approves roughly $35 million in funding for projects in the region. While OKI’s primary mission has been surface transportation, OKI is not confined to just highways and pavement:
•Since federal transportation investments stimulate land use change, OKI developed a Fiscal Impact Analysis Model to

give local governments a way to determine costs and benefits by analyzing the budgetary impacts of alternative land use scenarios.
• OKI’s Water Quality Planning Program involves work that enables wastewater treatment projects to obtain permits and promotes practices to reduce stormwater runoff and restore streams.
• OKI’s Clean Air Program is leading the fight for cleaner air in the region by bringing ozone and particulate matter pollution issues to the forefront of people’s minds.

Thanks to Hamilton County Clerk of Courts for their very interesting presentation at the AI in Government Forum last week!

Last week, Clerk Pavan Parikh and Central Services Director Jason Alexander gave a presentation during the quarterly AI In Government Forum at OKI Regional Council of Governments. They discussed our AI pilot with Medici Land Governance, where we are working to make historic court records searchable.

Our team enjoys attending these forums, and looks forward to learning from other government agencies at the next one! Make sure you are following OKI for updates on the next meeting.
