As highlighted at our meeting earlier this week, WPHCC member Nichole Carminati would like to conduct a study about quality of life in Price Hill. This study will be conducted pro-bono through her consulting firm.

She would like to interview neighborhood residents. These will be anonymous and confidential. Each interview will take about a half hour. She would like to start having these interviews next week.

We'll be discussing Community Budget Requests - which is the city administration's method of funding up to three priority projects for our neighborhood. If you have any ideas for CBRs, please share them at our meeting, or comment/message us here.

If you haven't filled it out yet, please take a few minutes to do so. We will keep it open for another month. The results from this survey will directly help us assess the West Price Hill Community Council's mission and vision statements. And in general, the results will also guide our council's decision-making on issues going forward.

This summer, teens on the west side are using their days off of school to work on making their neighborhoods a better place.

The Summer Safety CAT program meets Saturdays throughout the summer in different neighborhoods on the west side, aiming to improve the community and themselves.

Our next meeting will be held on Tuesday, July 14th, 7:00pm, at Dunham Recreation Center.

A representative from LDG Development will be at this meeting to give a short presentation, then answer questions and comments. This will be regarding the proposed development at the site of the Western Hills Sports Mall.

We will prioritize questions and comments from our members first. If you would like to become a member, or check the status of your membership, please message us.

As shared at our last meeting, Queen City Commons is piloting a compost drop-off program in West Price Hill.

There are three drop-off locations: Rapid Run Park, Miles Edwards Park, and Covedale Park. They are currently free to use.

WCPO 9 recently ran a few stories about traffic issues in Price Hill. Check out this story below in which two of our board members discussed their experiences and concerns.

After hearing one resident's story, the West Price Hill Community Council reached out to WCPO, saying they’ve had a growing number of concerns over speeding and safety on residential roads.

As shared at our meeting last night, we have started a committee with the purpose of assessing the mission and vision statements for the West Price Hill Community Council. With updated statements, our council will be able to make better-focused decisions, increase our membership, and ultimately be more effective when dealing with important issues.

First, I must shout out our committee members: Latrice Behanan, Kim Bussell, and Allie Glatt. They bring a plethora of relevant experience, and they've been very helpful in different aspects of the community council beyond this committee.

We are launching a public survey about what you and our neighbors think about Price Hill and the WPHCC. Collected responses will be used to guide our committee as we craft new mission and vision statements.
