Today, we kicked off Clermont Classroom - Class 1: AI in Action: Stop Watching. Start Doing - Real Tools, Real Results featuring Kendra Ramirez, CEO, KR Digital and AI Agency, and Kate Berner, Founder, AI Strategy & Enablement Partner, Tritelligent.

From attendees using ChatGPT for the very first time to experienced AI users looking to take their skills further, there was something for everyone. Participants worked through real business use cases, identified opportunities to work smarter (not harder), and walked away with practical tools and an AI Action Plan they can put to work immediately.

WELCOME TO CLERMONT COUNTY, NESTLÉ Purina! 🐾

The wait is over! After nearly five years of watching this incredible facility rise from the ground up, the Clermont Chamber of Commerce was honored to join Nestlé Purina PetCare, community leaders and partners for the grand opening of its 24th U.S. factory — right here in Batavia.

And this is much more than a new manufacturing facility. It’s a major investment in the future of Clermont County.

💰 $550+ million investment — one of Purina’s largest manufacturing investments to date
👷 340+ local associates already employed, with plans to grow to 500+ jobs
🏭 Purina’s first factory built from the ground up since 1975
🤖 A state-of-the-art “Factory of the Future” built around innovation, technology and advanced manufacturing
🐾 A facility designed to help serve the needs of millions of pets and families
🌱 A company already making a difference locally, with more than $346,000 contributed to Clermont County organizations

And perhaps most importantly, Purina chose Clermont County because of our people. Our skilled workforce and strong manufacturing ecosystem helped make Batavia and Williamsburg the right place for this historic investment.

As Purina shared during the celebration: “Our people are our superpower and our secret ingredient.”

That investment in people extends beyond the factory floor. The new facility includes a Manufacturing Experience Center designed to help educate and connect the community with modern manufacturing and the technology shaping its future.

The grand opening also showcased Purina’s commitment to our community, including two $30,000 Purina Foundation donations to the League for Animal Welfare and Impacting Tomorrow.

This is what economic development looks like: innovation creating opportunity, good jobs strengthening families, and business investment making a lasting impact on the community.

From brews to freshly brewed connections, we’re building relationships across the region!

We’ve recently enjoyed two great member networking events with our chamber partners, and both were reminders of what makes these gatherings so valuable: connection, belonging and relationship building.

🍻 Rural Connections at Southridge Brewing brought business professionals together from across five counties alongside our partners at the Brown County Chamber of Commerce, The Highland County Chamber of Commerce, Wilmington-Clinton County Chamber of Commerce, and Adams County OH Chamber of Commerce.

☕ Morning Mixer at 2020 Eyecare Ohio gave members the chance to connect with professionals from the Anderson Area Chamber of Commerce, Little Miami River Chamber Alliance, and Milford Miami Township Chamber of Commerce. It was a great morning of conversation, collaboration and seeing new opportunities through a fresh set of eyes. 👀

Celebrating growth and greater impact at IPM Food Pantry!

The Clermont Chamber of Commerce was proud to join IPM Food Pantry for a ribbon cutting celebrating its expanded storage capacity and continued growth.

Recent facility enhancements, including expanded storage racking and a new 400-square-foot freezer, will help IPM store and distribute more food to our neighbors in need.

This milestone represents more than additional space. It reflects the power of community partnerships and IPM’s continued commitment to fighting food insecurity and serving local families.
