East Side Day Academy

East Side Day Academy Day Program and HPC Services for Hamilton and Clermont County East Side Day Academy is open to adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.

We accept the following funding sources: IO Waiver, Self Waiver, Level 1 Waivers, and Private Pay. We provide in-home care to people residing in Hamilton, Butler, and Clermont Counties. We believe learning and growing is a fun, life-long process; that developing healthy relationships promotes happiness and success; that people should learn how to build relationships and partnerships in their comm

unities; that people should be empowered to take control and make choices; and that EVERYONE has value and is worthy of LOVE. Program Options Include:

DAILY LIVING ACTIVITIES
Self Care/Hygiene
Meal Planning/Food Preparation
Money Management
Nutrition
SELF EXPRESSION
Use of computer technology, including social media
Team member participation
Evaluation of social situations to facilitate appropriate, positive choices
RECREATION/LEISURE
Arts/Crafts/Games
Community outings and events
Fitness activities
Appropriate use of leisure time
COMMUNITY EXPERIENCE
Guided practice through social interaction
Shopping experiences for daily living needs
Opportunity to learn about the rights and responsibilities that come with being independent
Community safety and awareness
COMMUNICATION/SOCIALIZATION
Recognizing feelings and identifying social cues
Guided communication in social environments
Using technology to communicate

It's a process but one we love. The cards we are all helping with are to go inside Teris Chemo Bags. They donate care bags with comfort items in them to people receiving chemotherapy. Last year they did 50 bags and this years goal is 60. Renee Sunday has more info if anyone wants to donate!! 🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷
