Public Notice - Tax Collectors Notice

Take notice that I, Carolyn Nowalk, Tax Collector, have duly
received the Tax Roll and Warrant for the year 2026. I will
be receiving taxes at the Cincinnatus Town Hall as follows:
January & February hours will be Tuesdays from 3:30 -
6:00 pm and Saturdays from 8:00 - 10:00 am. March, April
& May hours will be Tuesdays 3:30 - 6:00 pm and the last
Saturday of each month from 8:00 - 10:00 am. Take further
notice that taxes on said roll may be paid on or before
February 2, 2026 without interest. Beginning February 3rd
one and a half percent (1.5%) for each month or fraction
there-of, there-after until taxes are paid or returned to
County Treasurer on June 1, 2026, pursuant to law. If
taxes are unpaid as of May 1, 2026 and a second notice of
Taxes Due is processed, an additional charge of $2.00 (two
dollars) will be levied and will become part of the amount
due.

ANNUAL ELECTION OF CINCINNATUS FIRE DISTRICT DECEMBER 9, 2025
Please take notice of the annual election of the Cincinnatus Fire District scheduled to be held on December 9, 2025 between the hours of 6:00pm and 9:00pm at the Cincinnatus Ambulance Station for the purpose of electing one (1) commissioner for a five (5) year term commencing on January 1, 2026 and ending December 31, 2030.
Each candidate seeking said District Office shall file their name with the Secretary of the District, Richard M. Lambrecht, Jr. PO Box 144, Cincinnatus, NY 13040 no later than December 4, 2025. All duly registered residents of the Cincinnatus Fire District shall be eligible to vote.
