It’s not getting dark quite as early as we had hoped, so we are moving tonight’s Family Movie Night start time to 8 p.m.
🌙 Please join us tonight for Hoppers, Rated PG! Bring your lawn chairs and blankets and settle in for a fun family movie night.

We grieve the loss of Dolly Parton, while celebrating an incredible legacy of kindness, generosity, and a lifelong love of reading. Through Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, she helped put millions of books into the hands—and homes—of children around the world.

Kellogg Free Library is proud to sponsor Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library for children living in the Cincinnatus Central School District, from birth to age 5.
If your child is not yet enrolled, we can think of no better way to honor Dolly’s memory and continue the work she cared so deeply about. ❤️

Sign your child up to receive a FREE book mailed directly to their home every month from birth until their 5th birthday.

May her songs continue to play, her kindness continue to inspire, and her love of books live on through every child who opens one. 📖✨

ALA is heartbroken at the passing of country music legend, cultural icon, and champion of literacy Dolly Parton.

Dolly’s award-winning Imagination Library initiative, inspired by her father’s inability to read or write, has put hundreds of millions of free books into the hands of children across America and was considered by her to be one of her greatest achievements.

“We’re giving books to kids who wouldn’t have a chance to get them otherwise,” she told American Libraries in a 2018 interview. “A lot of people think this is just for poor children—it’s for all children. It’s important to get books into the hands of any child that we can.”

ALA was proud to confer Dolly with an honorary lifetime membership, the Association’s highest honor, in 2023 for her lasting impact on librarianship, libraries, and the communities they serve.

Dolly was also part of ALA’s Celebrity READ campaign, in which she holds a copy of 'The Little Engine That Could.'

“I’ve always related to that book because I’m the little engine that did!” she said.

We’re hoping Mother Nature cooperates so we can show Water for Elephants outside tonight! 🌙🍿
But rain or shine, the movie is ON! If the weather doesn’t cooperate, we’ll simply move the fun inside the library.

Pirate Story Time was a good time! We read some pirate stories, sang some pirate songs, and even walked the PLANK! 🌊⚓

Thanks to all our little pirates who joined us for a morning full of stories, songs, laughs, and adventure! 🏴‍☠️📚

**Arrr… we can’t wait for our next Story Time adventure!**

The teens had so much fun at Fuller Fields Pumpkin Patch this week! ☀️ We enjoyed a dirty soda bar, made edible sand art, played co****le and volleyball, explored the corn maze, and even took a tractor wagon ride! 🚜🌽

It was such a nice afternoon spent enjoying the sunshine, having fun, and giving everyone a chance to catch up with each other over the summer. 💛

A big thank you to Summer and Easton at Fuller Fields for having us! We loved spending the afternoon with you!
