Willow Branch Township Library is closed today due to a power outage caused by inclement weather.

We plan to reopen on Saturday, June 13, 2026.

The community is also welcome to join us Saturday for Dodgeball Play from 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM at the library.

Calling all rib lovers and rib masters!

Willow Branch Township Library is hosting our Backyard Rib-Off Fest on Saturday, June 13, 2026, from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at the library.

We are looking for 6–10 contestants to put their BBQ skills to the test! Categories include:

🏆 Best Overall
🔥 Best Sauce
🌶️ Most Unique Flavor
🗳️ People’s Choice

Contestants should bring 2 full racks of ribs, prepared at home, safely transported, and ready to serve.

Registration is required for both contestants and patrons attending.

Willow Branch Township Library is proud to share that our Director, Travis J. Givens, has been recognized as a 2026 Library Journal Movers & Shakers honoree in the Change Agent category, along with receiving the inaugural Amazon Next Gen Librarian Award.

This national recognition highlights innovative leadership, community engagement, and modernization efforts within public libraries. We are excited to have leadership at Willow Branch actively involved in statewide and national library initiatives that help strengthen services for our community.
