The Cisco Fire Department has been working a mutual-aid grass fire on County Road 154.

Cisco Fire Department, Olden Volunteer Fire Department, Eastland Fire Department, and the Texas A&M Forest Service are currently on scene working together to contain the fire.

Please use caution in the area, avoid County Road 154 if possible, and give emergency personnel and apparatus plenty of room to operate.

We appreciate the assistance of our neighboring fire departments, the Texas A&M Forest Service, and the continued cooperation of the public.

For those wishing to contribute to relief efforts for the Ross Fire in Palo Pinto County, we encourage you to donate through the American Red Cross or other established charitable organizations assisting with disaster relief.

The Cisco Fire Department does not have the capacity to receive, store, or distribute donations for this incident. The gold standard during a large-scale disaster is to use established charitable organizations that are equipped to coordinate and distribute assistance where it is needed most.

🚨 PUBLIC SAFETY ALERT – TRAFFIC DELAYS 🚨

The Cisco Fire Department is currently working a motor vehicle crash involving a gravel truck on westbound I-20 near Mile Marker 335.

No injuries have been reported. Motorists should expect delays in the area while emergency crews work to clear the scene.

Please slow down, use caution, and give emergency personnel plenty of room to work.

A CWPP helps communities become more resilient to wildfires by documenting local risks,assessing community capabilities, and identifying projects to implement over the next 5-10 years.

Your feedback will help ensure that wildfire risks have been accurately identified and that the actions included in the plan reflect the current needs of Eastland County residents.
