The Homecoming Dance is almost here, and this year we’re having a night on the **Hollywood Red Carpet!**

Have you secured your date? More importantly… **have you secured your ticket?** 🎟️

Homecoming Dance tickets are **$20** and will be on sale beginning **Tuesday, September 8 through Wednesday, September 16**. You can purchase your ticket from your **1st period teacher**.

Wait until the night of the dance? You’ll pay **$25 at the door**, so don’t wait!

📚 PBL KICKOFF!
• Students will kick off their Project-Based Learning (PBL) during 2nd Period on Friday. We are excited to see our Wildcats begin their next learning adventure!

📌 IMPORTANT LMS REMINDERS

MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 7 — LABOR DAY
🚫 NO SCHOOL

🪪 STUDENT ID BADGES ARE REQUIRED DAILY
Students are expected to wear their Student ID Badge every day. Students who do not have their badge after 3 occurrences will be assigned to the Reflect & Restore Center (formerly Retract).

📚 ASSIGNMENTS & ACADEMIC RESPONSIBILITY
Students are expected to complete all assignments in class. Students with incomplete or missing work are encouraged to complete the assignments at home.

If a student does not turn in an assignment, they will have one final opportunity to complete the work and will be assigned to the Reflect & Restore Center on Mondays during PE to receive academic support from Mrs. Shepard.

📅 ATTENDANCE MATTERS!
It is extremely important for students to attend school every day so they do not fall behind academically.

Students who accumulate more than 17 days of absences during the school year may be referred to Truancy Court, in accordance with attendance requirements. Excessive absenteeism can also negatively impact our school report card.

📈 ADDITIONAL ACADEMIC SUPPORT
Students who did not demonstrate proficiency on the ACAP assessment or i-Ready Diagnostic may be assigned additional tutoring sessions during the school day.

Additional support may be provided through:
• Kids First Tutors provided by MCPSS
• Retired Teacher Intervention Program

Our goal is to provide students with the support they need to grow academically and reach their full potential!

🏈 Lott Middle School and the City of Citronelle Hosts the Springhill Toyota Week Zero Kickoff Challenge!

Today was an exciting day of competition featuring girls flag football teams from MCPSS!

🏆 Congratulations to Causey Middle School on capturing the championship after defeating Semmes Middle School in the championship game!

A special thank you to LMS Coach Tripp Wilson for organizing this outstanding tournament and helping make the day a success! We appreciate the time, effort, and leadership he put into bringing teams together for this great event.
