The PIT Count was carried out by our team last night, with tonight's effort forthcoming. By accurately counting the homeless population, we enable the County to claim more substantial funding for support services. In Fair Oaks and Orangevale, where I have strong connections, the community's warm reception and support made our job easier. We welcome such opportunities to make a difference.
