Citrus Springs library is a private, nonprofit library located on 1826 W. Country Club Blvd. The library uses donations and fundraisers to stay open. We are staffed with volunteers who work three hour shifts. There are no paid positions, including the board of directors.
Besides books for all ages, the library has CDs, DVDs, audiobooks, puzzles, and computers. We can make copies and fax papers. The genealogy room has books and papers from the states. These can be viewed in that room. Groups can also use this room for meetings and arts and crafts. Tutors can use this room with school children they are helping. Reservations must be made. The children’s section has a table and chairs. They can read, color, and play with blocks in this section.
The first fundraiser will be a donated double size handmade “Dutch girl“ quilt. It is currently on display in the book nook of the library. The drawing will be Friday, May 1 at 12 o’clock noon. Tickets will be five dollars each and are on sale now. The quilt can also be seen on Facebook, (Following this post).
AARP will be at the library starting Monday, February 2 and in Monday, April 13. You can have appointments here but must do so by calling Central Ridge library at 352-746-6622.. The library will be closed on Monday, February 16 for Presidents’ Day.
