COOSA COUNTY – A two-vessel crash that occurred at approximately 7:15 p.m. Friday, June 26, resulted in two individuals being ejected and one injury. Natasha L. Holt, 38, of Munford, who was a passenger, in the 17ft Bumblebee Bass boat, was ejected when the Bumblebee collided with the 17ft Nova Bass boat, operated by Duncan B. Davis, 24, of Deatsville. Holt was recovered from the water and transported to Baptist Medical Center East in Montgomery for treatment.
Trevor D. Howell, 30, of Munford, who was the operator of the Bumblebee, was also ejected and recovered from the water, however, was not injured as a result of the collision. Davis was also not injured as a result of the collision.
The crash occurred in Hatchet Creek on Lake Mitchell in Coosa County. Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Marine Patrol Division continue to investigate.
