What a special evening as we gathered for our Lions Club End-of-Year Dinner to celebrate another year of service, friendship, and community. Thank you to Collins Chapel Fire Department for the use of their beautiful facility.
As we reflected on this year’s Peach Festival, we couldn’t help but feel grateful for each and every Lions Club member who poured their time, talents, and hearts into making it such a tremendous success. Events like the Peach Festival don’t happen by chance, they happen because of people who are willing to serve, work hard, and come together for something bigger than themselves. Thank you to everyone who helped make this year’s festival one to remember.
Congratulations to Donny Martin on an incredible 30 years of perfect attendance. Your faithfulness and dedication to serving our club and community are truly inspiring. We also extend our heartfelt congratulations to Michelle Porter Headley, our Lion of the Year. This honor is a reflection of the countless ways you serve others with a willing heart, and it is so well deserved.
We also want to express our sincere appreciation to Jason Calhoun for his outstanding leadership as our President this past year. Thank you for your time, commitment, and the steady guidance you provided to our club.
As one chapter closes, another begins. We are excited to welcome David Askew as our new President and look forward to another year of serving our community together.
The evening was made even sweeter as we introduced our 2026 Peach Queens. We know these young ladies will represent our festival and community with grace, kindness, and pride.
Here’s to another year of serving others, building friendships, and continuing the traditions that make our community so special. We are proud to be Lions! 🦁🍑
