❄️ Community Notice – Warming Station Available ❄️

Due to the extremely cold temperatures, the front Lobby of the Chilton County Jail will be open as a warming station when needed to help ensure the safety of our citizens.

Sheriff John Shearon:
“The safety and well-being of our community is always our top priority. During severe cold weather, we want to make sure no one is left without a warm place to go. We ask everyone to please check on your neighbors—especially the elderly, those living alone, or anyone without adequate heat—and help us look out for one another.”

If you know of someone who may need assistance during this cold weather, please do not hesitate to reach out.

Together, we can get through this safely. Stay warm and stay safe.
